After School Programs

Quincy has three after school citywide bands. Please speak with your band instructor regarding appropriate opportunities and registration requirements.

All-City Band

All-City Band is for 5th-graders, with 4th-graders invited as they gain proficiency. It meets in the Quincy High band room on Tuesday afternoons from 1pm-2pm. Buses are provided at each elementary school to bring students to rehearsal and back to their home school.

All-City Percussion Ensemble

All-City Percussion Ensemble starts at 4th grade.  It meets in the Quincy High chorus room on Tuesday afternoons from 1pm-2pm. Buses are provided at each elementary school to bring students to rehearsal and back to their home school.

All-City Jazz Band

All-City Jazz Band is for middle and high school students and meets at Quincy High School on Thursdays from 3pm-5pm.  The middle school section meets from 3pm-4pm and the high school section meets from 4pm-5pm.  The instrumentation is saxophone, trumpet, and trombone and is open to middle and high school students.  Students do not have to be band members at their schools to join.  It is also open to students who play rhythm section instruments such as piano, guitar, drums, and bass.
